About
Built from training across disciplines, not from borrowed coaching copy.
This page covers the origin story, working philosophy, and current direction behind Silver Performance Training.
Origin story
How the coaching lens was formed
I did not come into training through a neat coaching funnel. I came into it by chasing better output across different disciplines and learning, repeatedly, that intensity without structure eventually collapses.
Triathlon taught me how fragile endurance becomes when recovery is sloppy. Calisthenics taught me control. Powerlifting taught me how to organize stress. Hyrox sharpened the idea that performance has to survive real life, not just ideal training weeks.
Silver Performance Training exists because most people do not need more hype or a louder program. They need a training system they can actually trust when work is heavy, sleep is imperfect, and motivation is inconsistent.
Philosophy
Principles that guide the work
Structure over novelty
Good programming should survive imperfect weeks. The system matters more than whatever trend is loudest.
Performance with proof
Every recommendation should connect to a reason, a constraint, and a measurable outcome.
Work with real life
Training has to coexist with business, travel, fatigue, and competing priorities instead of pretending they do not exist.
Credentials
Background and relevant context
- Multi-discipline training background across triathlon, calisthenics, powerlifting, and Hyrox
- Years of self-coaching, documented training review, and program iteration
- System-first lens built around repeatability, recovery, and honest workload management
- Content-led coaching approach focused on clear communication instead of performative complexity
Current focus
Turning training notes into a coaching system
The current build phase is about converting years of experimentation into a clearer operating system: useful content, cleaner coaching pathways, and a site that shows how the philosophy actually works.
